TBWA\HAKUHODO’s “VOICE CHARGE” Wins Gold at 2024 Clio Sports Awards

Tokyo, Japan – December 5th, 2024 – TBWA\HAKUHODO is proud to announce that their project “VOICE CHARGE” has received both a Gold and a Bronze award at the 2024 Clio Sports Awards.
“VOICE CHARGE,” an innovative fan engagement project, was created to support the Nissan Formula E Team during the inaugural Formula E Tokyo E-Prix in March 2024. The project transformed fans’ vocal energy into electricity through the cutting-edge “VOICE CHARGE” device—a microphone that converted cheers and shouts into stored power. This energy was then delivered to the Nissan Formula E Team to support them during the race, symbolizing the direct contribution of fans to the team’s performance. By turning spectators into active participants, the initiative seamlessly merged sports, technology, and sustainability, redefining the traditional boundaries of motorsport sponsorship and creating a memorable and meaningful brand experience.
