Masatoshi Usami LISTED IN CAMPAIGN ASIA-PACIFIC’S “40 UNDER 40 2023”

Campaign Asia-Pacific, Asia’s largest advertising magazine, has selected Masatoshi Usami, Creative Director of TBWA\HAKUHODO, as one of the “40 under 40”, its prestigious list which recognizes top-tier outstanding young leaders in the media and communications industry. The award highly recognized Usami and said, he has leveraged his unique creativity to transcend all constraints and challenges, delivering meaningful and impactful campaigns for clients.

Usami joined TBWA\HAKUHODO in 2018 and became the first Gold Lions winner in the Innovation category at the prestigious Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2023. Usami has been recognized in over 150 domestic and international industry honors, including Clio Awards, D&AD, Creator of the Year Medalist (22′), and Japan Media Arts Festival. Usami enjoys projects that bring about meaningful change in society through the creativity he has refined throughout his years in advertising, such as the “Sound Free Concert,” which aims to democratize music, and “SHELLMET,” which transforms discarded seashells into a renewable resource.
