TBWA\HAKUHODO wins its third Nikkei New Office Award, introducing advanced office space to promote partnership between major and start-up businesses through new initiative beyond ad business.
29 August 2014
TBWA\HAKUHODO Inc. has announced that it has won the Kanto Shorei Award at the 27th Nikkei New Office Award. This is the third Nikkei office award the company has received since its foundation in 2006, following the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award and the Creative Office Award in 2007, and the New Office Promotion Award for office expansion in 2012.
TBWA\HAKUHODO launched its new TBWA\HAKUHODO\QUANTUM office, offering a platform for major and start-up companies to co-create a new business through its QUANTUM Accelerator services. The initiative is the first of its kind for an advertising agency, and these unique services are offered in the space that received the recent Nikkei New Office Award. The office, which opened in March this year, features an incomplete yet inspiring interior design and a functional working space where ideas are turned into reality, driving innovation of venture businesses. Also, companies considering a potential partnership with start-ups can visit the office to see the entire process from idea development at the meeting room to actual manufacturing within the working space itself. The office has been designed by the agency’s project members, who also took part in the construction of the facility.
