Based on its mission of “creating meaningful social change with creativity” TBWA\HAKUHODO has long utilized its core philosophy and methodology, “DISRUPTION®,” to drive solutions for a wide variety of social challenges.

The world is facing many issues, including environmental problems such as climate change and dwindling biodiversity, as well as social matters related to diversity, human rights, and corporate governance. TBWA\HAKUHODO is committed, not only addressing these issues but actively creating positive change by embedding sustainability at the heart of its business strategy.

The newly launched website outlines TBWA\HAKUHODO’s sustainability policy in detail, focusing on three key areas: People, Planet, and Process, also known as the “Three Ps.”

The Three Ps:

– People: Promoting innovation in the world by championing diversity and creating a work environment that is welcoming and comfortable for all.
– Planet: Bringing needed change to the industry in light of climate and biodiversity crises.
– Process: Transforming existing processes for new value creation.

A message from Wataru Uchida, President & CEO
“In recent years, there has been a growing demand from clients and society at large for greater focus on ESG (Environment, Society, Governance) initiatives. At TBWA\HAKUHODO, we are committed to our mission of “creating meaningful social change with creativity” and we are addressing challenges head-on.

We have responsibilities to fulfill as a company, and we also have a wide variety of like-minded partners with whom we aim to collaborate in promoting sustainability. We have made sustainability as a key pillar of our business strategy, viewing sustainability not just as a social responsibility but as an essential driver of our company’s evolution and growth.

Specifically, we have established our policy and framework of the “THREE Ps” (People, Planet, Process), through which our entire company apparatus will actively pursue sustainability.
We will continue to lead change toward a more sustainable society.”
